Do you have questions about what it means to be neurodivergent?

Neurodivergence includes a wide range of ways that people think, learn, and experience the world. Some examples include:

  • ADHD

  • Autism-Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • OCD

  • Tourette’s Syndrome

  • Learning disabilities (e.g., Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia)

  • Anxiety-related conditions

However, neurodivergence is an open definition—it’s about how you experience the world, not just a specific diagnosis. If you feel like this term applies to you in any way, we welcome you to share your perspective on the application form. Here’s one definition to consider:

Neurodivergent...means having a mind that functions in ways which diverge significantly from the dominant societal standards of “normal.”
